Vibgyor Threads of Hope – Humanitarian Aid to Manipur
As part of its humanitarian commitment to communities affected by hardship and displacement, Vibgyor Charitable Trust undertook Vibgyor Threads of Hope, an initiative to provide essential clothing to families in need in Manipur, Northeast India. The initiative was led by the Chairman & President Mr. Francis (Franky) Viegas, and executed by Managing Trustee Mr. James Riosado, with the support of Secretary Mr. Paul D’Souza, Trustee Mr. Akhil Takkekar, and dedicated volunteers of the Trust. The donated clothing was carefully inspected, verified, sorted, and packed to ensure that every item was suitable for distribution. The volunteers securely packed the clothing in water-resistant bags and boxes, with appropriate layering to preserve cleanliness, hygiene, and quality during transit. The completed parcels were thoroughly checked and loaded at the Trust’s assembling base in Cunchelim, Mapusa, Bardez, Goa, before being transported to India Post, Mapusa, for onward delivery to the Northeast. The consignment was officially dispatched to the Trust’s Nagaland distribution base, marking an important milestone in the humanitarian effort. Upon arrival, the clothing will be received by Mr. Khopu Rick, Request-to-Aid Coordinator, who will oversee the sorting and distribution of the items to families and individuals in need, with particular attention to women and children. Vibgyor Threads of Hope reflects the Trust’s belief that meaningful humanitarian action begins with compassion and reaches its purpose through collective effort. Every parcel represents more than clothing—it carries dignity, solidarity, and a message of hope to communities facing difficult circumstances.

Vibgyor GoGreen - Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam
Growing a greener tomorrow, one tree at a time.
As part of Vibgyor GoGreen, Vibgyor Charitable Trust proudly conducted a Tree Plantation Drive in collaboration with the Goa Forest Department – Research & Utilisation Division, Campal Range, Panaji. As part of the initiative, 20 saplings were planted across selected locations in Goa, carefully identified to ensure that each tree receives the care, attention, and environment needed to grow into a healthy, fruit- and flower-bearing tree. The initiative was undertaken in support of the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India, New Delhi, under MyGov India’s “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” Campaign, encouraging individuals and communities to contribute towards a greener and more sustainable future. Beyond planting trees, the drive reflects our commitment to nurturing them through their growth and creating a lasting environmental impact for generations to come. Through Vibgyor GoGreen, we hope to inspire greater environmental responsibility within our communities and encourage people, especially the younger generation, to recognise that every sapling planted today is a step towards cleaner air, richer biodiversity, and a healthier tomorrow. Because protecting our environment is not simply an act for today—it is a responsibility we carry for the generations yet to come.

Vibgyor Smiles - Beyond the Retirement Bell
Honouring those who dedicated a lifetime to shaping young minds.
As part of Vibgyor Smiles, Vibgyor Charitable Trust proudly celebrated and felicitated six retired teachers whose years of dedication, knowledge, and service have touched countless lives. The initiative was a heartfelt expression of gratitude towards educators who continued to inspire generations long after the classroom doors closed behind them. Among the six honoured teachers were two who use wheelchairs, whose presence and life journeys made the occasion even more meaningful. Their resilience, achievements, and enduring spirit remind us that a teacher's influence extends far beyond retirement—it lives on in every student they have guided, every lesson they have shared, and every life they have helped shape. Through Beyond the Retirement Bell, we seek to celebrate the dignity, contributions, and stories of senior citizens and create moments where they feel valued, remembered, and appreciated. Because retirement may mark the end of a career, but never the end of a legacy.

As part of Vibgyor Rise, Vibgyor Charitable Trust extended its support to Sangeeta Reddy, a visually impaired entrepreneur, by promoting her handmade products and helping create greater awareness and reach for her work. Through our efforts to encourage people to purchase and support her products, we aim to help her generate a sustainable source of income and contribute towards the well-being of her family. This initiative reflects our belief that true empowerment is not simply about providing assistance—it is about creating opportunities, encouraging self-reliance, and enabling individuals to earn with dignity and confidence. By supporting Sangeeta's products, we hope to inspire more people to choose inclusion, support local talent, and stand behind individuals who are working hard to build a better future for themselves and their families. When we support someone's ability to earn, we don't just change a moment—we help create a pathway towards independence and a brighter future.
Vibgyor Smiles - Food Donation Drive
Sharing food. Spreading dignity. Creating smiles.
As part of the Vibgyor Smiles initiative, Vibgyor Charitable Trust conducts food donation drives to extend care, nourishment, and companionship to senior citizens and vulnerable members of our community. As part of this initiative, food and essential provisions are delivered to Sanvedana Ashram (Jeevan Anand Sansthan) and the Senior Citizens Home, Parra, ensuring that those who have dedicated their lives to others receive the care and support they deserve. Beyond providing a meal, every food donation is an expression of kindness, respect, and solidarity. Through regular outreach and community participation, we strive to bring moments of comfort and happiness to the elderly, while encouraging a culture of sharing and giving back. Vibgyor Smiles is our humble effort to ensure that no one feels forgotten, and that every meal carries with it a little more warmth, dignity, and hope.
